Assalaamu Alaikum WR WB

                  SHAHADATH (Kalima)

The basic word uttered to become a Muslim or to join in Islam is to utter La ilaha illallah (There is none worthy to be worshiped other than God).    When a person entering into Islam utters this above statement, he means to say that he would totally and completely believe in the one and only TRUE God and follow what He says implicitly – God says in the Quran, except for man and Jinn, all that is in, and on the universe even the plants, birds and animals – Also, the stars, planets and Angels;  all worship Him always and completely, meaning to say that they implicitly follow His rules without straying even an atom from what He says or what He has commanded - This is true worship.   Following anything  that Allah says, is worship, even urinating or passing motion or having intercourse, eating, sleeping or anything for that matter; doing it in accordance to the way shown by Allah through the Prophets is Worshiping Him.   But, if a man or Jinn wants to embrace Islam, they will have to whole-heartedly believe completely in the above statement and verbally utter the words, La ilaha illallah (Kalima).   If a non-Muslim does so, all his previous sins will be forgiven, not only forgiven but are also converted to be virtuous acts and he earns virtues for them.   Prophet (s.a.w) said if a person’s last word before his death is the Kalima, then he would go to paradise.    But this is for people who whole-heartedly accept God as a Supreme power worthy to be worshipped and are willing to follow Him completely and implicitly.

The most astonishing factor is that when a person utters this Kalima whole heartedly all their past sins – if the sin is between him and the Lord then the sins get fully wiped out,  Rasool (s.a.w) said that a Muslim should renew his Kalima as often as possible, when the Sahabas asked him as to how they can renew the Kalima he Rasool(s.a.w) said repeat the Kalima whole heartedly, and the great blessing of this is every time they utter this Kalima they earn the greatest amount of virtues far above all other virtuous  acts,  just as if they told it for the first time – i.e. suppose they got the whole Universe – mind you not the entire world but the entire Universe filled, and much more with virtues for reciting it the first time the same amount of virtues would be recorded for them as many times they say the Kalima, provided they utter it whole heartedly and sincerely, and they should not be in Kufr or Shirk for this annuls their belief in the one and only true God Almighty.

There are so many people who utter this Kalima thousands of times without even understanding in the least as to what the Kalima means, and do a lot of Shirk (associating partners with God) and Kufr (Denying the existence of God).   For them, this Kalima will have no value whatsoever – even if you have a Muslim name and publish that you are a Muslim world wide, you would not be counted amongst the Muslims by God, you would have to understand its (Kalima’s) meaning and whole-heartedly come out of Shirk and Kufr and then utter this Kalima again to become a Muslim or to join in Islam.   For that matter, even the majority of so-called Muslims who have segregated themselves into many groups and sects also come under this cadre.   They will have to come out of these groups (i.  e; Shiah, Sunni, Khadiani, Bhahai, Hanafi, Shafi, Hambali, Malike, or Tableeqi, etc.   etc.   etc.  )  and utter the Kalima to become a Muslim.    By uttering this Kalima, you state that the supreme force and the most supreme commander is God Himself, and what He said, the Prophets conveyed to us.   Contradicting any of these will amount to sin, sometimes Kufr and Shirk.   These persons, who are continuously in Kufr and Shirk though they have been warned and message of truth conveyed to them innumerous times; if they persist in their Kufr and Shirk, at the time of death if they utter this Kalima, it would have no value, whatsoever.    For, Allah says in the Quran:

Of old We sent Moses with Our Signs and Authority manifest

To Pharaoh, Haman and Qarun; but they called (him) "a sorcerer telling lies!"
Quran: 40 – 23,24

Every time the penalty fell on them they (Pharaoh & his people) said: "O Moses! on our behalf call on thy Lord in virtue of his promise to thee: if thou wilt remove the penalty from us we shall truly believe in thee and we shall send away the children of Israel with thee."
Quran: 7 - 134

And Pharaoh, Qarun,  and Haman! Moses came unto them with clear proofs (of Allah's sovereignty), but they were boastful in the land. And they were not winners (they were everlasting losers).
Quran: 29 - 39

Those who reject faith neither their possessions nor their (numerous) progeny will avail them aught against Allah: they are themselves but fuel for the fire.

(Their plight will be) no better than that of the people of Pharaoh and their predecessors: they denied Our Signs and Allah called them to account for their sins.  For Allah is strict in punishment.

Quran: 3 – 10,11

We took the Children of Israel across the sea: Pharaoh and his hosts followed them in insolence and spite.  At length when overwhelmed with the flood he (Pharoah) said: "I believe that there is no god except Him (Allah) Whom the Children of Israel believe in: I am of those who submit (to Allah in Islam)."

(It was said to him): "Ah now! but a little while before wast thou in rebellion! and thou didst mischief (hence his Kalima was not accepted)!

Quran: 10 – 90, 91

Lo! those who believe, then disbelieve and then (again) believe, then disbelieve, and then increase in disbelief, Allah will never pardon them, nor will He guide them unto a way.

To the hypocrites give the glad tidings that there is for them (but) a grievous penalty.

Quran: 4 – 137,138

God says that people who continued in Kufr and Shirk in spite of numerous warnings given to them, at the time of death, if they utter this Kalima, their death would be like pharaoh (Firoun),(Haman, Qarun, etc).   Firoun was warned multiple number of times by Prophet Moses but he persisted in his Kufr.   At the time of death, when he was about to be swallowed by the sea, he shouted number of times, “I believe in the lord of Israel, I believe in the lord of Moses.  ” He even uttered La ilaha illallah (There is no God except Allah) but it was of no avail.   Allah rejected his Kalima.   And Allah(swt) also states that for people who in spite of numerous warnings persisted in Kufr and Shirk, at the last minute when death approaches, if they recite the Kalima, it would be of no avail to them.   It would be rejected just as Firoun’s Kalima was rejected.

Brothers and sisters, the time we stay on Earth is a very very short period, so short that it is equivalent to a couple of minutes only, when compared with the time of Aahira, but it has been expanded and magnified to be shown as hundreds of years (people before us lived for nearly a thousand years).    So, the time we are spending here in this Earth is such a short period but it is the most most most important place, for it is here we can erase all our sins, and it is here that we can earn all our virtues.   There is no other place, neither your grave nor in the next world, where you can earn your virtues or erase your sins.   The next world would only be a recompense for your virtues and sins which you earned on this earth, though heaven would be such a tremendous magnanimous grandeur;   It would be only for the virtues you earned on Earth, similarly, hell would be a great tremendous torture for the sins you committed on Earth.   So, the Earth is the most important place of a man’s life.   If you lose this and waste it, you would be a tremendous loser but if you utilize it in accordance with what God and His Prophets have shown us , you would be tremendously victorious and triumphant.  A large crowd of the people of old and only a few of the people of our times would be coming to Heaven:

In gardens of delight;

A number of people from those of old

And a few from those of later times.

(They will be) on Thrones encrusted (with gold and precious stones).

Quran: 56 – 13,14,15,16

Brothers and sisters, the religion God has shown us is without any discrepancies, or mistakes or confusion.   It is simple and crystal-clear designed and fabricated ONLY for our victory, success, triumph, and above-all for our PEACE for which we are striving endlessly and it is a great blessing God has given us, had not God given us these ways, we would have never never never been able to formulate such a pure and crystal clear way.   We are so very fortunate to be born on this Earth, so please make the best use of it and be most successful here and in the hereafter, and be amongst the few who would enter Heaven (aameen).   Remember if there was a mistake in what God has shown us, certainly he would not be GOD.

God is omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient that is why He is the Supreme Lord of ALL and far is He from mistakes and confusion.

Allah has given the Jinn, and human, including Satan and the Prophets the same size of paradise for all,  and about the size of a slipper is the size of hell that He has given all of us including Satan and the Prophets – it is only with our own hands the virtues we send which develops and builds our paradise into a tremendously great paradise a most happy and blissful place or our sins make hell a MOST degrading grievous suffering for us to live in – so once again please do understand that this place(Earth) is a MOST important  place we are living in and the time we spend in it is too precious to be wasted.  The Prophets choose Allah(swt)’s great blessing the Paradise and Satan choose the curse of Allah(swt) the Hell – which are You going to choose ?????????

"Because of (the deeds) which your (own) hands sent forth: for Allah is never unjust to His servants:
Quran : 8 - 51

May Allah(swt) make us amongst the few from our period who would enter Paradise without any questioning and help us to see Allah perpetually;  (aameen, aameen, aameen val humdu lillahi Rabbil Aalameen).

Wishing you ALL THE VERY BEST
